NRS-9553 | License fee and compensation fee books for Australian wines

This series results from the provision in the Liquor Amendment Act of 1919 whereby the Licenses Reduction Board was empowered to fix compensation fees payable by licensees of premises whose licenses were not withdrawn, and to assess the amount of compensation payable in cases where licenses were withdrawn. For Australian wine licenses the information is arranged under the following headings: certificate number, date of fixing fees, situation of premises, quantity of wine purchased in previous year (the value is shown in monetary pounds and in gallons), license fee, compensation fee, date paid and notations.
