Metatranscriptomes of Planktothrix agardhii and it's obligate fungal parasite (Rhizophydium megarrhizum)

During routine maintenance of the obligate chytrid parasite on host P. agardhii 1031, four samples were collected for metatranscriptomic analysis: the uninfected host, a sample of the infected host displaying the ball aggregate phenotype as described in McKindles et al. (2021), an infected sample concentrated on a 11 um nylon filter (> 11 um fraction), and the filtrate from that same sample (< 11 um fraction).
