Pine Island Glacier calving front traces 2014-2025

Tracings of the Pine Island Glacier (PIG) calving front from October 2014 to January 2026. This dataset includes 39 calving fronts traced from Sentinel-1 A and B imagery. The traces have a minimum temporal resolution of 6 months, with extra calving fronts traced directly before and after each of the four calving events that occur during the observational record. We provide two different shape files, cf_simple and cf_complex. cf_simple is a simplified geometry version of cf_complex which excludes large rifts that split into the ice front.
