资源简介:

Conterminous-US (48-state) forest yield-curve projections generated for the PERSEUS Forest Intelligence multi-model explorer. Empirical FIA chronosequence yield curves were fit as a hybrid Chapman-Richards growth function with an age-dependent decline tail, per forest-type x EPA Level-III ecoregion x ownership cell, for four responses: aboveground live carbon, aboveground dry biomass, total stem volume, and merchantable volume. The curves are applied two ways for comparison: FIADB inventory expansion (per-state forest area anchored to published FIA aboveground-carbon totals where available, otherwise to TreeMap 2022 forested-pixel area) and TreeMap 2022 30 m pixel-area expansion. Each expansion is projected under five management scenarios (No harvest, and harvest multipliers 0.75 / 1.00 / 1.25 / 1.50 of the working harvested fraction) and two climate arms (rcp45, rcp85; productivity scaled from a climate-stress index), 2025-2125 at 5-year steps. Outputs use the CEM per-state confidence-interval schema so the four engines (yc_fiadb_rcp45/85, yc_treemap_rcp45/85) align with the CEM, FVS, and CBM engines in the explorer. Confidence bands are the per-state, per-response population lack-of-fit of the fitted curve (plot-count-weighted age-binned residual). Includes the 192 per-state CI files, the producer and validation scripts, and the per-state FIADB-vs-TreeMap comparison tables. CONUS aboveground live carbon at 2025 reconciles between expansions: FIADB 10,901 Tg C vs TreeMap 10,002 Tg C (ratio 1.09).
