Average signal-to-noise ratio of the three-dimensional displacement measurements obtained by image cross-correlation as a function of the size of the interrogation box (in pixels).

Signal-to-noise ratio is defined as the ratio between the maximum value of the cross-correlation and the second local maximum. All data in this table have been obtained for interrogation boxes with vertical size of pixels.
