This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Observation-Constrained Modelling Reduces Estimates of Pan-Arctic Subsea Ice Volume" (Z. Li and K.Y. You, 2026; submitted to Nature Communications). Data files used to make the main and supplementary figures. It provides a gridded, observation-constrained model of subsea permafrost and methane hydrate stability zone (MHSZ) properties across seven pan-Arctic continental shelf regions: the Barents, Kara, Laptev, East Siberian, Chukchi, and Beaufort seas (with separate Alaska Beaufort, Mackenzie Delta, and Banks Island sectors).Please contact Zhen Li (zhen.li@jsg.utexas.edu) if any files are missing, and he will update this repository to include them.
