A multi-parameter sonde graciously provided by Northeast Avalon ACAP is used to collect water quality data (DO [mg/L, %], SpCond [µs/cm], Salinity [ppt], TDS [mg/L], Temp [°C], pH) on Manuels River. Sampling is carried out at a single location, the shallow running water adjacent to the granites immediately behind the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre. Sampling methods follow the recommendations laid out by Northeast Avalon ACAP.
