Paenibacillus durus, is a Gram positive, spore forming nitrogen fixing bacteria. The ability to fix nitrogen even in the presence of of nitrate sparks a lot of interest towards this species. The main objective of this study is to understand the regulation of nitrogen fixation genes that involve during nitrogen fixation and thus can be applied into the agriculture sector.
