This is the dataset for the research article: The trace of the trees: A historically situated geospatial assessment of deforestation in Bosawas biosphere reserve. The research combines two independently generated high-resolution land cover maps and agrarian census data to assess the extent of deforestation that has affected Bosawas from 1990 to 2022. The dataset contains the study region's land cover maps and the consolidated agrarian census data utilized in the research, as well as the code used to process them.
