Nodal Demand Profile for Ghana
收藏资源简介:
This dataset represents a load demand profile for Ghana in 2024. It provides a high-resolution, representative 8,760-hour synthetic nodal demand profile designed for steady-state power system research, grid reliability analysis, and expansion planning in developing nations. It is an N x T matrix (107 buses x 8,760 hours); the profile addresses critical gaps in energy infrastructure modelling caused by the lack of publicly available commercial substation data. This profile was created based on the 3rd version of the MatPower case grid developed by [1]. The dataset targets and aligns with ground-truth monthly energy consumption figures (23,701.46 GWh) and localised monthly peak demands reported by the Ghana Energy Commission in its official national energy outlooks. By mapping aggregated system totals to localised nodes via Nodal Participation Factors, this dataset retains demand consistency while preserving the network limits.
