In 2023, the region of Pasco was the largest producer of silver in Peru, accounting for around 19.8 percent of the total silver output in the country. The region of Ancash followed in second, with a share of 18.1 percent. Peru's silver mine production amounted to 3.04 thousand metric tons that year.
