This data set contains the transcripts of excerpts from a selection of media conferences by the Hon Dan Andrews MLA, Premier of Victoria, held between August and November 2020. These media conferences were held in the context of the lockdown of Melbourne and the wider state of Victoria due to COVID-19. The excerpts are the portion of the media conference in which the Premier presented his prepared remarks. The excerpts do not include the questions and answer session with journalists which followed his remarks.
