A touch detection device comprises a touch interface (1) made of composite material comprising a lignocellulosic material and a resin， the lignocellulosic material being impregnated with the resin， the fraction of resin being between 30% and 80% by weight relative to the total weight of composite material. The resin impregnated makes it possible to render the touch interface stable irrespective of the temperature and moisture conditions with a view to use both outside and inside.
