To understand how the EIJ1 complex functions in plant innate immunity, a genome-wide transcriptomic analysis was carried out using 3-week-old of eij1-1 and Col plants under dip inoculated with Pst DC3000 (OD600 = 0.1) treatment. Basing on the criteria of 2-fold cutoff for the genes with 5% false discovery rate, we first identified the differentially expressed genes in eij1_P vs Col_P, which are referred to stress response and innate immune response. These data suggest that EIJ1 may be involved in plant immune response. Three-week-old of eij1-1 and Col plants were dip inoculated with Pst DC3000 (OD600 = 0.1). The treated leaves were collected at 24 hpi. RNA sequencing was performed by the Biomarker Technologies Corporation (Beijing, China) using an Illumina NovaSeq platform.
