Evaluating Rural Educational Spaces: An Observational Inventory of Learning Spaces in Rural Primary Schools of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China

This research is to conduct a rural primary school evaluation in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China. Twenty-two participants (four architects, nine school administrators, and nine government administrators) are involved in this research. The data was collected and analysed using the research platform http://www.schinventory.cn. The results highlight the need for specific architectural design strategies for rural primary schools and echo the Chinese education reform.
