Mono-species mangrove plantation habitat sites of Indian Sundarbans soil microbiome Metagenome

This study was initiated to find out the absolute abundance of different bacterial community present in these mono-species mangrove plantation habitat sites soil of Indian Sundarbans. It was done through isolation of soil DNA from the respective sites and amplicon database generation through16S (V3-V4) rRNA Sequencing using Illumina MiSeq.Comparison of these sites information with that of pristine mangroves, ecologically restored or semi-restored mangroves and degraded mangrove habitat sites soil of Indian Sundarbans might result into identification of some particular bacterial community abundances which could be used as metrics of differences between ecological restoration of mangrove and mono-species plantation of mangrove sites soil in future studies.
