资源简介:
Sargassum fusiforme and Sargassum thunbergii are ecologically and commercially important seaweeds that thrive in intertidal zones that are frequently exposed to extreme variation in environmental stress. About 438 Mb of S. fusiforme genome was assembled. The number of contigs of the S. fusiforme genome was 1,576, the N50 was 440,341 bp, and GC content was 48.45%. For S. thunbergii, a genome of size 376 Mb was assembled. The number of contigs was 2,347, the N50 was 244,659 bp, and GC content was 48.63%. About 21,692 genes were predicted in S. fusiforme, and about 19,211 genes were predicted in the S. thunbergii genome. S. fusiforme genemodel showed 85.1% BUSCO completeness, whereas the value was about 85.5% for S. thunbergii. Please cite: Kim et al. (2025)Kim, H., Jo, J., Yang, J.
