Mitochondrial DNA alterations in malignant tumours of spleen in dogs

Performed research includes the analysis of biological materials including a tumour of the spleen, healthy tissue and blood from each affected dog. The material has been collected from dogs of different canine breeds. After histopathological analyses, DNA was isolated and quantitative and qualitative assessment was performed. DNA analyses was based on the NSG resequencing of the entire mitochondrial genomes.
