L81 is a Gram + strain belongs to Bacillus atrophaeus specie. It was isolated from Pinus pinea rhizosphere and it is able to produce siderophores. It enhances the growth of Pinus pinea, Arabidopsis and soybean seedlings. Is able to induce systemic resistance in Arabidopsis seedlings against attack of Pseudomonas syringae, and also protect these plants against salt stress.
