ERA5 Meteorological Inputs, Digital Elevation Models, and WindNinja Batch-Processing Code for Wind–Sand Analysis of a Photovoltaic Plant

This dataset contains the meteorological and terrain input data and batch-processing code used to prepare hourly WindNinja simulations for wind–sand analysis at a photovoltaic plant. The dataset includes six ERA5 NetCDF files covering 2021–2023, three processed hourly meteorological tables, the original digital elevation model, and the projected and cropped DEM used as the WindNinja terrain input. The accompanying Python scripts reproduce the ERA5 spatial aggregation, DEM reprojection and edge cropping, hourly WindNinja configuration generation, and batch execution process. Generated WindNinja configuration and output files are not included because they can be recreated directly from the supplied inputs and scripts.
