Athens 20 hour urban traffic simulated dataset

Dataset Description These two datasets were generated—suggested use one for training and one for testing—each corresponding to a 10-hour SUMO simulation of urban traffic in the Athens city center. For each dataset, three files were produced: Netstate Dump File: This file contains the complete simulation state (e.g., lane occupancies, vehicle positions, and speeds) at every simulation timestep, which is set to 1 second. It provides a detailed timeseries snapshot of the network state over the 10-hour period. FCD Output File: This file records the Floating Car Data for each vehicle, capturing individual trajectories including positions, speeds, and accelerations at a 1-second resolution throughout the simulation. Emission Output File: This file logs instantaneous emission values for each vehicle, calculated using the HBEFA-based emission model, at every 1-second timestep. It enables analysis of the environmental impact of the simulated traffic. Together, these files form comprehensive datasets that capture both the dynamic behavior and environmental performance of urban traffic in Athens as simulated by SUMO over a 10-hour period.
