A 2022 survey of State Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) in the United States found that 54 percent of state agencies had adopted incident response services offered by state CISOs on the highest level. Meanwhile, 19 percent of public higher education institutions presented the lowest level of adoption of incident response services.
