Compounds tested by laser nerve transection are marked in the last column. Blue color highlights compounds whose presumptive action was expected to impair nerve regeneration based on previous reports. Red color highlights compounds whose presumptive action had been shown to have opposite effects on nerve regeneration. Compounds whose presumptive action has not been shown to control nerve regeneration are marked in white (compounds with no known targets) and yellow (with known targets).
