Whole genome sequencing of Penaeus indicus

Indian white prawn, Penaeus (Fenneropenaeus) indicus, is widely distributed across Indo-Pacific Asia and has been successful in domestication and breeding with great economic value.The discovery of genomic information of P. indicus is very beneficial to the healthy development of Indian prawn culture.Here, We have sequenced genome-wide data from Indian shrimp by illumina, which will help us better understand the genomic characteristics of P. indicus.
