资源简介:
The dataset is a part of the project "The effect of long-lasting adaptation to intensive speed-power and endurance training on plasma free amino acids concentration at rest, during graded exercise and post-exercise recovery" funded by the National Science Center Poland, grant OPUS 14, recipient: Krzysztof KusyThe dataset includes measurement data from a graded exercise test until exhaustion. Before, during, and after the test, venous blood samples were taken and plasma free amino acids concentrations assayed as affected by exercise intensity and the recovery phase (LC-ESI-MS/MS technique and the aTRAQTM reagent). A series of secondary variables were also determined for description and data interpretation. The measurements were performed in the pre-competition period of a one-year training cycle, i.e. when athletes approached the highest level of physiological adaptation specific to their disciplines. Exercise testing, body composition measurements, and blood draws were conducted at the Human Movement Laboratory "LaBthletics" of the Poznan University of Physical Education, Poznan, Poland. Plasma samples for amino acids assay were analyzed in the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poznan, Poland.
