Genomic relatedness between intestinal colonizing CRE and subsequent bloodstream infection isolates identified through active surveillance

Whole-genome sequencing data of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) intestinal colonization isolates collected through active surveillance. During follow-up, some colonized patients developed secondary bloodstream infections. This project investigates the genetic relatedness between colonizing isolates and subsequent bloodstream infection isolates to assess the link between colonization and infection.
