Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1970, Omnibus no. 01

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1970 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in the months from May to December in 1970. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 01. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # # #The questions common to the 1970 omnibuses are; degree of urbani- zation; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in household (children/adults, over/under 15); occupational status of head of household; total income of family; the respondent's occupational status; the respondent's educational status; the respondent's income; position in household of respondent and spouse; occupa- tional status of housewife; social class; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Danish membership of the EC (provided that Great Britain joins the EC simultaneously); development aid (the 1% target); assessment of the TV opera 'En Nat i Venedig' (One Night in Venice); influenza and vaccination against influenza; inflammation of the throat; colds; public transport; assessment of the TV serial 'Pippi Langstrømpe' (Pippi Longstocking); the effects of 'Pippi Langstrømpe' on children; dogs in household; TV in household; and attitudes to the proposed Nordic Economic Union
