Up to now, there is no published data on the occurrence of the vAh strains in Vietnam aquaculture and about the quorum sensing of these strains. Therefore, this study is the first to report the presence of vAh strains in Vietnamese catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) and to investigate the affects of quorum sensing on the transcriptome profiling and some regulated phenotypes (virulence, signal molecules, exoproteases, biofilm formation) of these vAh strains.
