We report the application of next-generation sequencing (NGS) to analysis the gene expression profile among three different cells:iPSC-MC-Ch, iPSC-NCC-Ch and primary chondrocyte. Our results shown that iPSC-MC-Chs were more similar to iPSC-NCC-Chs than primary chondrocytes. To define which lineage derived chondrocyte is the best for generating hyaline cartilage, human iPSCs were differentiated into mesodermal and ectodermal lineage cells and further induced to chondrocytes.
