Whole-genome resequencing of Avena fatua

Avena fatua, one of the most problematic weed species in many crops worldwide, is well known for its broad adaptability to diverse extreme environments, especially its herbicide resistance. This study provides valuable resources for elucidating oat genome evolution and the broad adaptability of A. fatua to diverse environmental conditions, as well as for breeding resistant and climate-resilient cultivated oats.
