NGS-based virus detection in pooled sesame and lettuce samples

This project contains raw next-generation sequencing (NGS) data generated from a pooled RNA sample comprising sesame and lettuce. The pooled RNA was sequenced to identify plant viruses. Viral reads originating from Sesame were identified by reference-guided mapping against both host genomes, and RT-PCR independently confirmed the presence of the virus in sesame.
