The KVH C100 Compass SB66700113 was deployed on 2018-07-09 at Notre Dame Bay. Notre Dame Bay is located on the northeastern end of Newfoundland. To the south, it adjoins the Bay of Exploits. This device is a Orientation Instrument. Orientation instruments are used on ships, ROVs and instrument packages to record variables like heading, pitch and roll. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
