资源简介:
Recently synthesized thermally stable, high surface area spinel type Cu-Zn-Al based catalysts have been shown to outperform the state-of-the-art industrial catalysts for dimethyl ether steam reforming (SRD). Herein, we propose a comprehensive operando high-energy (HE) X-ray scattering (HEXRD and HESAXS) study of these catalysts at beamline ID31, the dedicated HEXRD and HESAXS beamline at ESRF. We aim to investigate the structural/morphological properties and evolution of the spinel-type CuO/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst under both calcination, reduction conditions and during H2 production via SRD at high temperatures. Hence, based on the obtained results, we’ll be able to rationalize the effect of ZnO, Al2O3 and spinel-type oxide phases on the structural changes of the active Cu species during the treatment conditions as well as SRD.
