The number of ultra-low emission heavy goods vehicles licensed in the United Kingdom increased from 490 in the first quarter of 2015 to 507 by the fourth quarter of 2021. This increase has not been steady throughout the period. Numbers declined slightly in the first quarter of 2015 and throughout the third quarter of 2020, then started increasing until the last quarter of 2021.
