To identify transcription factor associated with JICD1 transcriptional complex, transcription factor binding motifs that interact with JICD1 were defined by chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) analysis. Further, the activated transcription-associated DNA motifs were detected by H3K9 acetylation. We verified JICD1 associated and activated transcription-associated DNA motif in Sox2 promoter. Transcription factors binding these motifs are SMAD3 (SMAD Family Member 3), TGIF1 (TGFB induced factor homeobox 1), and TGIF2 (TGFB induced factor homeobox 2). Examination of HA-JICD1 binding sequence and histone modification in Ink4a/Arf-/- astrocytes.
