Online Media Corpus: PBI-BPJS Kesehatan Deactivation Controversy, Indonesia (29 January–30 April 2026)

This dataset contains metadata for online news articles discussing the deactivation of BPJS Kesehatan Contribution-Assisted Beneficiary (PBI) participants in Indonesia, collected via Intelligence Media Analytics (IMA), a big-data social and online media monitoring platform, between 29 January and 30 April 2026. This record supersedes and corrects the dataset previously deposited at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.21381385. The 'Influencers' field (automated named-entity tags identifying individuals described in each article) has been reduced to initials in this version, as a precautionary de-identification measure consistent with F1000Research's Safe Harbor requirement, since this field was not manually verified name-by-name for public-official status prior to the original deposit. No other field has been altered. See the README sheet within the file for full details. The dataset contains three sheets:1. Full_Deduplicated_Corpus — 7,213 unique news articles after URL de-duplication across 10 collection batches.2. Filtered_PBI_Corpus — 3,897 articles from 1,147 outlets matching PBI-related keywords; this is the corpus coded and analysed in the associated F1000Research article "Narrative Coalitions and Fluid Character Roles in Health Policy Crisis: A Narrative Policy Framework Analysis of Indonesia's National Health Insurance Controversy."3.
