Oral Microbiota modified in different habitat of OSCC patients

In this study, we collected samples of five habitats (subgingival plaque, the lesion side of oral mucosa and the control side (normal mucosa), saliva and internal tumor) from 25 OSCC patients. 16S rRNA sequence was used to compare the difference of microbiota in those five habitats, enlightening which habitats could be potential sites for future studies in prediction, prevention and treatment of OSCC.
