Gene expression changes in chronic lymphocytic leukemia B cells activated in human plasma-like medium (HPLM)

In this experiment we in vitro activated CLL cells in human plasma-like medium (HPLM), with basal or high glucose levels, on a layer of fibroblasts expressing CD40L, anti-IgM stimulatory antibodies, IL-21 and IL-4 for 96 hours. Resting non-activated CLL cells were used as controls. After the 96 hours, cells were taken off the fibroblasts and sorted for viable CD19+ cells.
