PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutting machine capable of improving workability in adjusting parallelism between a side surface of a base and a blade tool without complicating a structure of a front part of a portable cutting machine body. SOLUTION: A portable cutting machine 1 comprises: a base 2 made to abut on a material to be cut; an electric motor; a blade tool 21 driven by the electric motor; a cutting machine body comprising the blade tool 21 for cutting the material to be cut while supported by a top surface 10 of the base 2; and an angular plate 40 provided to the base 2 for inclinably supporting the cutting machine body. By horizontally rotating the cutting machine body taking a portion provided at a rear side of the angular plate 40 (a holding portion of a wave washer 48) as a fulcrum of rotation， parallelism between a side surface 14 of the base 2 and the blade tool 21 can be adjusted.
