Purpose: To understand the changes in cell cycle related genes in the callus tissues when PNET1 is ectopically expressed. we performed the whole genome transcriptome analysis on callus induced from the hypocotyls of WT, pnet1 mutant, and PNET1 overexpression line using RNA-seq. Conclusions: Most cell cycle related genes were downregulated in pnet1 mutant but upregulated in PNET1 overexpression line. mRNA profiles of 10-day old callus of wild type (Col-0), pnet1 mutant, and PNET1 overexpression line were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq PE-150.
