Equity Grants Database

VerityData’s Grants database includes equity grants (“A” code transactions) disclosed in Form 4 filings since 2004.

VerityData uses proprietary software and specialized analyst review to process grant disclosures parsing data points such as type of grant (restricted stock, deferred comp, stock options), shares, and value.  We add context to the Grants dataset by joining with our Management Change database to determine if the grant is subsequent to hire or promotion.

The data is comprehensive, normalized and vetted by experienced financial analysts, making it easy to identify unusually timed, sized, or constructed awards that can provide valuable insight into valuation views, management incentives and actions, and board expectations.
