资源简介:
The dataset is in a single file. It was collected with an on-line survey, administered by Qualtrics, using panels for respondents. Data was collected from all municipalities in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho that had operating shared micro-mobility systems at the time of data collection. Qualtrics performed “scrubbing” on the data. They managed to get respondents from all the municipalities in quantities appropriate for the relative populations. While a variety of ethnicities and education levels were represented, whites were over-represented; they are 71% of the relevant Pacific Northwest population and 79% of the sample. Hispanics/Latinx were under-represented with 13% of the population, but only 3% of the sample. The sample was also skewed toward higher levels of educational achievement as 98% of respondents were high school graduates and 86% of respondents had at least some college. The population from which the sample was taken has a high school graduation rate of less than 77%. The survey collected the following data about the respondents. • Demographics • Current transportation modes • Political position • Data to determine classification according to the “Four Types of Cyclist” • Usage of shared micro-mobility • Deterrents to usage of various modes of shared micro-mobility • Motivators for usage of various modes of shared micro-mobility • Awareness of laws regarding usage of shared micro-mobility modes
