This study investigates the transcriptomic response of Capsicum frutescens var. Zunla-9 to foliar application of different concentrations of bio-nano selenium. Potted chili pepper plants were treated with bio-nano selenium solutions, and leaf samples were collected 24 hours post-treatment for RNA-seq analysis. The transcriptome sequencing was performed by Shanghai Majorbio Bio-pharm Technology Co., Ltd. This research aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying selenium uptake and metabolism in chili pepper plants and identify key genes involved in selenium stress response.
