Quercus parvula var. parvula Genomic Resources

Quercus parvula var. parvula (Santa Cruz Island Oak), considered Endangered B1 2ce by the IUCN, is native to Santa Cruz Island and to a few mainland California localities in the Purissima Hills and western Santa Ynez Mountains. Relationships between island and mainland populations and between this var, and Q. parvula var. shrevei are not clear. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
