Microorganisms that live in unexplored and extreme environments are a good source of novel antibiotic compounds. Streptomyces have the potential to produce bioactive secondary metabolites. In this study, strain SBC-4 with antibacterial activity was isolated from moonmilk collected from Baeg-nyong cave, South Korea.
