Raw Data from the EMSO Western Ionian Sea Facility DAS Array, Offshore Catania
收藏资源简介:
This is the raw data to accompany the manuscript 'Azimuthal Sensitivity and Spatio-temporal Decimation of Data from Distributed Acoustic Sensing on Submarine Cables for Offshore Earthquake Early Warning Systems' (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-025-29234-5). The data are decimated from the original 1000 Hz to 10 Hz. The five time spans correspond to five regional earthquakes: 22nd May 22:51:59 - M4 Croatia2nd June 23:17:27 - M5.8 Greece-Turkey5th June 02:22:46 - M4.1 Algeria10th June 03:10:47 - M3.5 Sicily11th June 22:54:41 - M4.3 Libya In addition, data from seismic station IV.EBDA are provided here for each event as .mseed files for convenience, though were not collected by the authors and are taken from the INGV data archive (https://eida.ingv.it/en/getdata); see citation below. All times in UTC. The field campaign was carried out as part of project SEALS (Submarine noise-Evaluation & Analytics using Low-cost Sustainable-sensing), which, in addition to the research leading to these results, received funding from EMSO ERIC through the Physical Access Programme, Grant Agreement No. EE-PA_202306_01. The work was supported by projects funded by NERC (NE/Z000408/1; NE/Y003365/1; NE/Y005589/1) and EPSRC-DTP (EP/W524384/1). The authors would like to thank SLB for their student support as part of the EPSRC-DTP program.
