Verstehen, Behalten, Interesse. Übereinstimmende Antworten und kontroverse Fragen zur Beziehung von Textstruktur, Textverständnis und Lerneffekt

Eine Zwischenbilanz der Forschungsbemühungen zum Problem Textverständlichkeit zeigt, daß es (relativ) gesicherte Ergebnisse vor allem im Bereich der Dimensionen der Textstruktur, der Verständlichkeitsmessung und der textuellen Bedingungen für den kognitiven Lernerfolg gibt. Offen sind allerdings die meisten Fragen zur motivationspsychologischen Perspektive der Textgestaltung; hier ist das größte Problemlösungspotential von einer Verbindung der epistemischen Neugiertheorie (Berlyne) mit dem Modell des mathemagenen Verhaltens (Rothkopf) zu erwarten. Interim results of research projects into the problem of "understandability of texts" show that some (relatively) safe results have been obtained, mainly regarding the dimensions of textual structure, testing of reading comprehension and the textual conditions of learning efficiency.
