DATASET: Permanent grassland classifications predict agronomic and environmental characteristics well, but not ecological characteristics

This dataset is linked to the paper "Permanent grassland classifications predict agronomic and environmental characteristics well, but not ecological characteristics" (Mesbahi et al., 2020. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ecolind.2019.105956).Datasets consist of 250 grasslands from the Vosges Mountains (France), described by 16 ecological-, agronomic- and environmental characteristics. Each grassland is also classified in three classifications (or "typologies"): one is phytosociological, one is agronomic and the last is functional.<br>Script used for the statistical analysis is also available. Statistics mainly consists in model selection. Each characteristic had been modelled by each classification alone, by the main effects of two and three classifications, and by the interractions of two and three classifications.
