Shannon Evenness Index (SEI) as Landscape Heterogeneity Metric (LHM) for Brandenburg and Lower Saxony 2017-2019

Overview This dataset contains a calculated indice for crop diversity (Shannon Evenness Index, SEI) based on different input datasets (IACS, PRE, SWD). The data has been aggregated onto a hexagonal grid and is used to investigate spatial patterns of agricultural diversity in Lower Saxony and Brandenburg. The data published here were developed for an exemplary assessment of data fitness for purpose in the context of biodiversity metrics. They contain information on the uncertainty assessment (probability) per hexagon for evaluating the SEI.
