PARP inhibitor (PARPi) resistance impedes the treatment of ovarian cancer in clinical practice. However, the mechanisms by which cancer cells overcome PARPi treatment remain obscure. Here, we showed that high level of KAT6A promotes PARPi resistance in ovarian cancer independent on its catalytic functions.
